Service Manager: Lee-Ann Mitchell

Hi, my name is Lee-Ann Mitchell.

I am the Program Manager here at Bermagui Aspire OSHC. I have worked with primary school children as a casual SLSO and as an assistant/education leader at Narooma primacy school after school and school holiday program for the Eurobodalla Shire council. I am currently continuing my study in education after completing Cert III in education support. Right now, I am continuing on my studies by doing Cert IV in education support.

My passion for working with school-age children comes from my own two boys who are on the Autism spectrum. Working with the Bermagui community, local family, preschool staff, Bermagui school staff, and therapy team.

That has helped my boys to overcome so many challenges, which has made me passionate to do

the same for other children.

 

My goal at Bermagui ASIPRE is to create a little family or ever a fun after school club where children can play games and sports and encourage them to learn something new like fun STEM activities, dance, music, art, and so much more.

I want to help build on children's own passion and interest in a space they're supported and allowed to play and have fun.
